Breakfast juice today was: 2 small granny smith apples, 7 leaves of kale, 1/2 a cucumber 2 carrots and an orange. DELICIOUS! I definitely did NOT miss the taste of the celery.

 

Here’s the afternoon juice:

I juiced 2 handfuls of kale, 2 pears and 1/2 cucumber. In my blender, I pureed 3 very ripe bananas and added the puree to the juice (the juicer instructions say not to try to juice a banana….haven’t investigated this further. Maybe it’s too soft?).

Thrilled though that this made 32 oz.!

Maybe because of the added thickness of the banana puree? Who cares, because it’s DELICIOUS!! I absolutely LOVE the flavor from the cucumber. It’s like you can taste that this is healthy and good for you (& not in the way that brussel sprouts were pushed on you when you were a kid because they’re “good for you”.)

I’m loving this! It surprises me that I do genuinely feel satisfied after a glass too!
